Bus transportation to the starting point of the hike and back to Cerkno is for the jazz hikers free of charge. A place on the bus is only guaranteed by registration → HERE
IMPORTANT INFO: We recommend hiking shoes and that you take a snack with you, because there is no restaurant at the destination. The return to Cerkno is scheduled for around 16:00.

Listeners are invited to take part in Jazzohod – a guided hike with a concert. This event combines music with hiking, and the cultural and natural heritage of the region of Cerkno. The route will lead the “jazz hikers” to the church of St. John (St. Ivan) in Šebrelje, where Gal Furlan will perform a concert. Furlan has published more than 30 albums with Slovenian and other musicians. He has also recorded several solo albums. Using a set of percussions, he will perform an improvised concert of a meditative nature with elements from African traditional music and a touch of free jazz. The St. John church in Šebrelje was built on the site of a former shrine to the sun deity, which is considered the strongest Slovenian energy point. On the slope below the church lies the archaeological site of Divje Babe. It is a one hour walk from the village of Reka to the concert destination following an easy marked trail, but hiking boots are recommended.
After the concert, you can also take part in a guided tour of the Divje babe Archaeological Park. In cooperation with Visit Cerkno.
