In the coming months, we have prepared four musical evenings as part of the 29th Keltika concert series, at which renowned Slovenian and international bands will perform. The series will commence on Friday, June 28, with a double concert by two Slovenian bands, each inspired by the retro sound of fusion, prog-rock and pop-rock of the seventies. The tandem Dejan Lapanja & Gašper Peršl will present the debut album Step Out of the Shakers, and the band Divje jezero from Idrija will present their recently released fourth album Prva stran.
The next concert, on Friday, July 19, will be something exclusive, since the famous guitarist Marc Ribot will play his only Slovenian concert with his new band. This time he comes to Cerkno with the The Jazz-Bins trio, in which he interweaves punk and soul with the help of the Hammond B3 organ and drums.
Towards the end of August, on Friday, August 30, we will host the Slovenian band Jimmy Barka Experience, consisting of one drummer and two DJs. A delicious and colorful cocktail of music awaits us – from funk and breakbeats to African and Balkan rhythms.
The latter will be present in abundance at the last concert of the series, on Saturday, September 7, as the multi-awarded Macedonian trumpeter Džambo Agušev will take the stage. With his Džambo Aguševi Orchestra he will perform hot and exuberant trumpet music from Macedonia and other Balkan countries.

You are kindly invited to the summer edition of the 29th Keltika concert series. All concerts will take place at Star plac in Cerkno; in case of rain, the venue will be covered.
