The Keltika Festival presents musical delicacy: the unique Slovenian band Terra Mystica. Its leader Danijel Černe - Mystica is known to a wider audience as the co-founder of Terrafolk; together with Terra Mystica we would also listen to popular singer Tinkara Kovač, who sings with Terra Mystica from the 90's on. This idiosyncratic band brings together diverse musical influences from traditional music through progressive rock and pop to classical and electronic music. Černe founded the ensemble in 1995; after eight years' hiatus the group gathered again in a new line-up and with new songs. The band members added to their ecclectic musical expression a touch of Karst and its mysticism; their performances and videos are enhanced with multimedia elements. One of their most noticeable concert appearance was at the esteemed Druga godba festival in 1998, where they played before the Senegalese star Youssou N'Dour. The popular singer and flutist Tinkara Kovač also appeared with them, and she is also a part of the reformed band. The group, which comes to Cerkno and Keltika after the gig at the important Italian festival Mundus (in Modena), will play music from the first two albums (Carsica, and Axis), as well as new songs that they will publish in the year 2011 on the album entitled "III."
